Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care that looks beyond the sore spot

When something hurts, it is natural to focus on the place you feel it. But pain is an experience created by the nervous system, and the reason it is there is not always as simple as one tight muscle or one joint being “out”.

We look at how your spine and body are moving, how your nervous system is processing information, what loads you are dealing with and how the problem is affecting your life. This helps us recommend care that is specific to you rather than applying the same formula to everyone.

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?

A chiropractic adjustment is a precise input to a joint, most commonly in the spine. It is used to improve movement and the sensory information travelling from the body to the brain. Adjustments may be delivered by hand or with a specialised instrument, depending on your needs, preferences and clinical findings.

Some people notice changes quickly. Others improve gradually as their body adapts and capacity builds. We will be honest about what we expect, review how you are responding and adjust the plan when needed.

Why people come to us

People commonly seek chiropractic care when back or neck discomfort, headaches, stiffness, recurring flare-ups, posture concerns or reduced movement are getting in the way. Others come because they want to support physical performance, remain active as they age or take a more proactive approach to health.

We cannot know whether chiropractic care is suitable for you until we understand your history and assess you. If your presentation needs a different type of care or further investigation, we will tell you.
